College takes up a huge portion of my time, which is why Zarjay.net hasn’t been updated very much lately. I’m no longer sure in what direction I want this website to head, but I still have a few plans for this site: More »

More »New Design, New WordPress
I apologize for the lack of updates these past weeks, but I wasn’t happy with the site’s design, and it compelled me to redesign the site before adding more content. Well, inspiration finally hit me last night, and voila! Here’s the new Zarjay.net. I hope you like it. More »
Top 10 Weirdest USB Drives Ever
FosforGadgets has the top 10 weirdest USB drives ever. You wouldn’t think that USB drives like these existed, but they apparently do. For people who ever wanted a rubber ducky as a USB drive, you’ll be happy to know that such a thing exists, as well as USB drives that look like finger food.
Roo TV
Has anyone ever heard of Roo TV? It’s an online video portal where you can watch anything from news, music videos, and movie trailers. Anyone who’s watched music videos from the Yahoo! Music website before will find Roo TV pretty similar, except Roo TV’s website works in both Firefox and IE, and Roo TV displays more than just music videos.
The company responsible for Roo TV also has video solutions for website owners interested in having Roo TV on their website.
Book Printing with CSS

The Prince softtware can be used for more than turning webpages into books; the samples page on Prince’s website illustrates a variety of uses for the software, including generating restaurant-style menus, articles with mathematical content, and even dictionary-style pages.
Christmas Lights
A friend showed me a video of what seems to be an extremely elaborate house decoration of flashing Christmas lights synchronized to the song “Wizards in Winter” by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It’s a nice light and music show for people passing by, but I almost feel sorry for the neighbors.
I do agree with the title, though; that’s definitely the best Christmas lights display I’ve ever seen.
Hurricane Katrina Information
The Mississippi Press has printed an edition for each day since the hurricane and has made each edition available online for download. My local TV station (WLOX) also has news articles and videos covering the effects of the hurricane. If you’re interested in helping the Gulf Coast recover from the hurricane disaster, you can make a donation to the Build Back Our Coast Fund or to the Red Cross.
