College takes up a huge portion of my time, which is why Zarjay.net hasn’t been updated very much lately. I’m no longer sure in what direction I want this website to head, but I still have a few plans for this site:
- More articles. I’d like to write more about software, video games, technology, web design, and anything else that interests me. One of my biggest goals right now is to find more time to post articles like these onto the site.
- A projects section. I’m planning on adding a “projects” section to my site that showcases any side projects that I may be working on. One that I’m working right now is a Java program that generates an HTML page of weekly events after telling it your weekly schedule. I hope to have projects like that one and more on my site (whenever I have the time, that is).
- A poetry section? I used to write poetry a lot—I don’t anymore—and I’m not so sure if I feel confident enough in my poetry to put them on my website. In any case, it’s an option, and it’ll be added as a section if I ever decide I want to add it to my site.
- Games? Before my site was redesigned, I had a games section filled with free Flash games (mostly from Kewlbox.com). This was definitely the most active portion of my website, and so removing that section was a bad idea. However, I think I may want to have links to gaming sites rather than put games directly on my website. That should give the games section a wider variety of games to choose from.
That’s all I have planned so far. I hope to eventually make my website more active, but for now, I have to concentrate on surviving the college life.
